i bought my fiancee's ticket here in the states. and for a few years now, philippine airlines have been issuing e-tickets. i was just wondering if there is something else my fiancee has to present the airlines when checking in other than her passport and a printed itenarary. any help is greatly appreciated..

yes, that would suffice. she just needs to present the e-ticket at the PAL counter.

also, does anybody know the weight limit of the check in baggages allowed per passenger?

For Journeys to/from the USA and Canada (Piece System)

e-ticket meaning what? the thing that i get from my travel agent is a reciept that i bring when i travel. they never asked me for it, but i present it anyway...

sorry about my ignorance. is the itenerary enough or does she need more proof that it's her flight? are they gonna ask for more than a printed thing from my travel agent?

i booked my ticket through a friend that owns a travel agency. we just talked over the phone about the details of my flight then she emailed me my e-ticket after i deposited the payment in the travel agency's bank account. transaction just happened over the phone. just like you, i was skeptic about presenting my e-ticket to the airline counter. but the she reassured me that it is enough.

your fiancee just needs the e-ticket (which should contain her flight details and such) and the passport then she will be furnished a boarding pass

E-ticket would be enough, No need to worry, it's acceptable.

All you need is the passport and e-ticket if plane ticket wasn't available.

Php 750 pesos cash for tax is also needed. ATM sucks there so better have the cash ready.

Have a safe flight!

E-ticket is the iterinary itself, in fact you can actually present the iterinary numbers or ticket numbers printed appearing in the e-ticket, it's all ready recorded in their database, so they just need to check if it matches the passport.
