I am working on a cross stitch design that may possibly be submitted in a contest. I am designing a bookmark that promotes literacy. I am hoping you all can help me out! If you could tell me what the phrase "I read" or the word "reading" looks like in your native language (either letters or symbols), that would be fantastic! I want to make sure I use the correct translation. thanks all in advance! :)

Tagalog

"I read" Nabasa ko

"reading" Nagbabasa

thank you everyone for your help! I promise to post a picture of the finished design! The contest isn't a for sure thing yet, but I still plan on making the design. :) Keep the responses coming! :)

Read, reading (v)= อ่าน

Read (n) = การอ่าน

I read = ฉันอ่าน

I read = yo leo (present tense)

reading = leyendo as in an activity in progress (present participle) like 'estoy leyendo' = I am reading

Reading as in "reading is fun" = "leer es divertido"
