They are a Production Company that does alot of the Broadway shows. Cats is getting ready to go out again. I am on my way to Idaho Falls, ID with one of the 4 trailers for it. Their itinerary isn't up to date on the site, but it will be a full blown national tour. They've been touring for 19 or 20 years! I don't see Portland on the itinerary that I have, but they will be in Seattle the 12th through the 17th of May. There's nothing scheduled the next week with the week after being San Jose, CA. I would imagine Portland would fall into that week. They're probably looking for the venue.

I was supposed to tour with Chicago last year but got put on Blast! instead.

The show was fantastic.. our seats were in row F orchestra.. seat 9&10.. bad part it was all the way on the Right... but.. as the show started.. we moved down two rows. to some empty seats.. could see fine.. at intermission.. we actually moved up to the front row... My daughter was absolutely thrilled..

Still TELL ME MORE ON THE CATS.... My daughter is obsessed with CATS... I tried that link you have and it is not opening.. not sure why.. .. cant get current shows.. only getting 2007-2008. If CATS is going to be in Seattle. and not Portland.. OF course.. we will make a trip... that is a DEFINITE... hahah.. daughter even named her kitten mongojerry.. go figure..

Well.. Phantom .. rightly superb.. when the chandelier started in the beginning of the show there were flashes.. fireworks.. I wasn't ready for that.. scared the bajeezez outta me..

still.. all in all.. one I think I can always see more than once...

If you have not seen it... I suggest that if you ever have a chance to see it. go for it.. you wont be disappointed.. .

Interesting. I have been on the BAA website before and really didn't pay much attention to it. I wasn't able to readily find itineraries there so I moved on. Apparently they are, or Key is, a production company as well. I was just suggesting that if you were looking for information on tours you could try Troika's site. I have only been doing this a year, so I am still a relative newbie. We have drivers that have been doing this 10 - 20 years! I am relatively certain I won't stay that long. This is a great job for a single guy, or a married man who hates his wife! We stay out for months at a time.

The Cats itinerary is obviously old. We are now entering "Broadway Season" a.k.a Fall and Winter, so they will probably update the site within the month. I have the new one, but because of the size I can't post it here. I looked at it again and the tour will be in Vancouver, B.C. 10/7-10/12. That is as close as they get until the Seattle dates. I seriously doubt that I will be with them beyond Idaho Falls or Salt Lake City the following week.

Oooh I miss live theatre. I was lucky enough to be living in London when Phantom first started and saw it with the original cast of Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman utterly enthralling and awesome! Oh my I'm old lol

Sweet.. .Michelle.. were you in front? I really didn't expect to actually feel the heat from the fireworks.. took me a moment to get the eyes/contact lenses adjusted. hahaha.. I think the strongest fireworks were second half.. when the whole stage lit up..

Such a small world.. glad you enjoyed as well

Yeah I felt it too! We won't talk about how much I paid for my tickets lol. I loved how you could like hear the rustling of their dresses and such. It seemed to add to the whole feel of the experience. I wish I could go see it again before it ends but it's not doable. I'll probably have to wait another 12 years before seeing it again Saw it last time in 96. Someone mentioned Grease was going to be playing in Portland somewhere? Do you know anything about that. I am definitely planning to go see Wicked in the spring though!

or what I tend to do is go to Joes... and have them search for the $20 tickets in Orchestra level. sometimes you land a great deal like I did last night. However.. if we were not able to move it would have been sucky seats.. but for me.. worth the chance.. look we ended up front row anyhow.. :-)

Sounds like it was awesome. I went and saw the movie Mama Mia and my Mom is going to Vegas to see the show live.
