I am Married to a Canadian. We are going to bring her here as opposed to me living in Canada. My finances are in shambles due to divorse, plant closing and other life issues. I will need a co sponsor for sure.

My question is what do I need to tell my co sponsor that he or she will have to endure to be a co sponsor for us??? How badly will I be indebted to them???

Thank so much for any ones help!

A co-sponsor or joint sponsor attends no "meetings". I expect anybody signing an I-134 or I-864 would actually read it before signing but the I-134 is not legally binding. The I-864 is.

Hey thanks for your help. Can you tell me the best way to go about getting that process started? Do we go ahead with the K-3 visa fling and then wait for their response? Or do we get all this going at once?

Please start by clicking on the word "GUIDES" at the top of any page here. Financial documents are dealt with after petition approval.
