Downloaded the 1.5 version the other day, and then managed to get a whole bunch of other people to download it as well (hubster doesn't like downloads, and this is his machine I'm on right now), much success!

To all of you still using internet explorer 6 out there...don't! Please please download Firefox - it's so much faster and it's free! No more freezing up really, at all, and man if you have DSL and think it's slow, give this browser a try - I am so darn entheusiastic I just wanted to spread the word :D In fact, I think I will make a poll!

If you want to give it a try, get it here. :)(F)

But be prepared that not all sites will load and a very great many of them (USCIS included) will have some issues.

I like Firefox, use it for most things. I use Opera when Firefox won't behave and IE when I'm desperate. ;)

Driving is going fine, home life is insane as usual - weeee! Still desperately looking for houses whilst simultaneouly painting, learning a new job, keeping myself relatively non-mad and yup, learning to drive. Phew! :P

I too find Firefox has issues from time to time, and switch to IE when it happens. However, it is the browser I use until I run into an uncooperative site.

Been using firefox for almost a year now with no major complaints...it's awesome!

But some pages don't load properly...you have to still use ie

And I installed it on my new puter here, and for some reason, it is missing a plugin, so it won't play any clips :( firefox can't even identify the missing plugin, so I dunno what to do.

Any ideas?

Oh, I love Firefox's capabilities...they've come a long way in the year or so I've used them.

I think most of the problem with it is lazy programmers/coders/webmeisters who only code for IE.

Just downloaded minimo which is firefox for pocketpc on the basis of this thread. The cutdown version of IE on PocketPC 2003 drives me nuts. So I will give this a go!

BTW this site tries to format itself for PocketPC...cool!
