Guys plz guide me that my wife is filling for me I 864 and my mother in law is filling I 864A so does my mother in law need to send her birth certificate to prove her relation with petitioner(Daughter)?

Or is there any other document which we can use to prove her relation to her daughter?

PLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLZZ I m waiting for early response...

The answer is actually on the I-864A form, page 2, item 8:

If you are the household member completing this form, but are not the intending immigrant, check box ©, and

check the box below that describes your relationship to the sponsor. If you check "dependent," you must be listed

as a dependent on the sponsor's most recent Federal tax return. You do not have to provide proof that you have

the same principal residence as the sponsor. If you check any other relative except for spouse, you must provide

proof of the relationship and that you have the same principal residence as the sponsor.

So yes, you need to send the birth certificate and also proof that you have the same principal residence. I don't know if there is another document that would provide this proof, what were you thinking of using? What other legal document can provide proof of relationship between a Mother and Daughter, other than a birth certificate?

Actually the prob is that my mother in law who has filled the I 864A,ordered her birth certificate and it is taking sooooooo long.

i wanna know that can she send any other document like her passport or domicile or somehitng else.

Coz BC is taking almost 1 month now and its very disappointing for me who is waiting sooooooo long for that document .

Plz gimmie suggestionsss
