I am getting nervous with my medical exam on Wednesday. Sheesh! I am still in crutches, but I hope I wouldn't have so much hassle on my medical examination. Geez! It's two days.

Anyway, I am so happy to see everyone moving with their cases. I hope before May ends, all of us are with our SO already.

Good luck to everyone!

You'll be fine! they dun care about your crutches, all they care about are your vaccinations, your TB testing (skintest)......You'll be fine. Make sure to have a good full meal, there's a TON of waiting involved.

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

I think you have nothing to worry about (if you dont mind needles). Grace and her daughter already did their medical in the Japan. Seemed to be no big deal except the vaccinations - her daughter is afraid of needles and 3 shots didnt really make her very happy. There's was done in one day, so I dont know why Philippines takes two days. Anyway, dont stress!

Good luck.

Hahahaha! Thanks! Thanks!

I already planned for that two days. I'm gonna bring water and chocolate bars. Then, I will bring my tiny laptop to play while waiting. Anyway, my aunt will come with me, so she can listen for my name.

Hello -

Ok, stupid question here.

My fiance got a letter from the embassy in manila stating that they had received the paperwork for the K-1 visa from the california service center. Everyone refers to Packet 3 in these posts. Is that one-page letter Packet 3, or should she be receiving something else?

Thanks, Jim

Yep! Packet 3 is only a letter from US Embassy. There's instruction there on what to requirements needed before interview.

OK, thanks for the info, Jim

Does it have your MNL case number on it? (Manila Case Number)

If it does you can schedule your interview.

Medical must be done at least a week prior to the interview.

Below is the link to the requirements, Medical And Interview.

Hey Everyone!!

I just thought I'd update. I don't log on too often now to VisaJourney, basically because it would drive me crazy:) Kyiv received our papers, but for personal reasons (future plans, etc) we can't do the interview until the end of April (but I did already buy my plane ticket, YAY!!)

So now it's just a waiting game ... and if I'm reading everybody's posts here, it's just going to make me more impatient!!

I hope everything is falling into place for all the other September filers! For the rest of you, good luck!

I understand. I am kind of getting to the point of not wanting to log on here also.

I really am happy for everyone, but being stuck in AP sucks. I have no idea how much longer it is going to be, but I am guessing I cant even get an interview until at least late March, maybe April. So coming on to this site and hearing about other's progress is kind of depressing. With all that said, I am not complaining too loudly becuase I know there are still people not even approved for NOA2 yet. So I guess I am fortunate to at least be that far.

Good luck. Hopefully April will come quick for you.

Awwwwww.... I know that feeling. After my accident, I visited this site, and see people same as my time line receiving NOA2, and I haven't, makes me feel so sad and kinda disappointed. But, hang on there guys! Soon, you will have your interview and before May ends you're gonna have your SO with you.

By the way, I cancelled my medical exam this week due to some family emergency and scheduled it again next week same day. For the progress of my foot, I can step now a bit using my toes (my doctor's advice to use my toes for now). So, I am thinking, I can walk a bit straight on my interview. I am going back to work on Monday, so I can do my DS 156 form (I'm using not so good internet now, so I can't do it).

We got our NOA2 - after checking my status online almost dayly last week (usually after a RFE it seems to take 2 weeks to get approval) with no change, we got the NOA2 in the mail yesterday. Very unexpected, but great news!!

I am very happy now I started the process to get my police reports. (The South African website says 21 days ... but we all know the difference between the website time estimate and the real time stuff takes)

Now I get to compile stacks and stacks of papers again ... such fun!
