Wanted to let everyone know, we got approved at the embassy and pick up the Visa on the 5th!!!

So everyone in the September, hang in there, it happens fast Even with the hiccup at our interview last thursday, we just went in today with what they ask for and kept the passport and said pick it up at 3pm on the 5th.

Huh..... every consulate have different requirements. Here, as I observe, once you think that your case already forwarded to embassy, you call them to set for an interview even without the packets yet. Then, just carry all the required documents as well as all supporting documents.

Well... good luck... I hope she and her daughter will have interview soon. Then, you can fly all together.

I was expecting I could schedule right away also, but no. So I am a little bummed, but I hope they will send us something this week, maybe just a week delay.

Congratulations on your interview! My SO has his medical appointment on Thursday and his interview will be next week, although we don't know what time. The embassy in Sarajevo issues visas the next day so I am hoping and praying he will be here on Valentine's Day! It would be the best present! Anyway, good luck to everyone! The process is a lot faster now after getting approved. We were lucky to make it go even faster because we already went to get all of the paperwork done prior to getting approved. Boy am I sure happy I did that.

I just received a packet from the US Embassy here in Manila. I am going to call them tomorrow to schedule my interview. I am thinking to have my interview on the middle of March because of my physical situation. My doctor just put off the cast from my foot today but I am not allowed to step yet, it needs two more weeks.

I wonder how things going on with you guys?

Glad you are getting better. Hopefully you will make a full recovery soon. I am stuck in Tokyo AP, so I have no idea how long I need to wait. WHich really sucks, because I need to go to Japan to help her move from her apartment. Every month is more rent and she is getting closer to due date and travel is getting more difficult. I hope they hurry! The nice part is her daughter is there now, so that is nice for her.

Well I finally got an email back from the embassy that they did receive the file and that packet three was sent, yay! I hope Sam gets it soon. =)

Yes, thankfully the doubts/jitters my SO was experiencing have now passed and he is very excited now that things are finally moving along.

Strangely Canada seems to take a bit longer to get an interview date, so we have a bit more to wait until we are complete.

But, it is awesome to see September filers get their Visa's in hand and see them get to start their lives with their sweeties.

Hi Guys!

My fiance called the embassy here in Manila to schedule my interview. We decided to have my interview on March 18, so that I can at least walk a little by that time. I was so amazed when I received an email from the embassy after some few hours we made the schedule, confirming my interview.

Anyway, we're almost done with our process except for my CENOMAR and NBI clearance which I will have next week. Then, I will wait till the date of my medical, and the date for my interview.

I really wish, I will be in good shape soon. Due to my condition, I really need to have my ankle fully heal before I leave, so if all things goes right, I might leave at the end of April.

Sheesh! So much waiting... I wish I will be okay soon.

Chuck and Grace - I hope Tokyo Embassy will finish their AP of your case, then have your interview soon.

I received my package 3 from the US Embassy today!

Now I am starting to get a little nervous...a good nervous...but wow...I have lot's to get done now.

Grace and her daughter are getting their medical exam in a few hours (hope her daughter does OK with the needles). No word yet from embassy on when we can get an interview. I called the embassy line (about $23 a call, not including long distance), but the guy said he had no idea how to answer my questions, but said he would contact the person in charge of our case and have them contact me - I hope they are more responsive than USCIS!

It seems I had to jump through so many hoops to get this going, now they are sitting on it in, calling it Administrative Processing. They should jump through some hoops too.
