I already received my NOA 1 in the mail. It took about a week from the date I sent the K1 packet to CSC. I am really hoping that this goes by fast. In 19 more days, I am leaving to Bosnia to see my fiance.... and I can't wait!!!! I just need to remember to save all of the boarding passes, etc, so I can use them as proof of an ongoing relationship.

Also, I was wondering if anyone new any good travel site (NOT expedia, cheapoair, kayak, vayama, etc) where I can find decent deals on flights to Belgrade? I am planning on going again December 19 - January 3, but tickets are upwards of $1100!!!

I am sorry to say but it's unlikely you'll be able to get much cheaper tickets to Belgrade than you've been quoted considering the time of the year you are planning on going. Children in Europe will have started their Xmas holidays and the airfare during school holidays always seems to go up. I just paid approx $500 for the London - Zagreb flight next month and that's during term time as well so flying all over from USA doesn't seem all that expensive considering you'll be on a flight for 10+ hours (my flight is less than 2  ). While you'll be forking out a lot of dosh, at the end of the day, it's all relative... ;) but so worth it, isn't it? B). Please let me know if you manage to find cheap flights, I'd be very interested. Cheers.

Good luck to you both on your visa journey. May it be smooth, fast and problems free. (F)

In beneficiary field, it should be name of the person you are asking for petition. In petitioner field, it should be the name of the person who filed the K-1 petition.

Ok, I realized that the received date of the petition is different from the receipt (NOA1) date. I updated both my timelines and oh yeah, I got my NOA1 notice in the mail today! So excited! The most important thing is my address and both our names are spelled correctly which is a good thing because in real everyday life most people spell them wrong lol.

After they cash your check or money order they will send you a "letter" with the case number .... NOA1...if you paid by check u can find out your case number without waiting for the NOA1 and u can go on USCIS website and subscribe to get information about your case online...unfortunately we paid with money order so we have to wait...I hope u'll get your soon!!!
