DAMN!!! The alarms are going off in my head BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP, oh wait, that is the alarm clock! But now I am worried. Can anyone who go approved help? or anyone who has a lawyer that knows for sure? I never saw anything at VJ that said to include it. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

I got it!!!!! I got it!!!!!! I got it!!!!! :D :D :D Our NOA2 came by SNAIL MAIL today dated 12/16/08!!! Our online status still says the case is pending from Sept. 2, 2008. What?!? I was so depressed last night when it was time for CSC to close and I still hadn't gotten anything. I about fainted when it showed up in the mail today!! I think that actually makes me the very first September filer to be approved...even though I got the notice late. Woohoo!!! I'm so excited!!! Good luck everyone!

Oh that's great Eve! I figured there'd have to be a good number of volunteers who do the same thing that we're doing! Actually PC staff was fine with it. Now if we had wanted to get married there, I would have needed permission (or something like that) of the country director, but we're doing a K1. They let him come to our COS conference and everything. But Ukraine is a big program (we have almost 400 volunteers in country) and I think about one person from every group ended up marrying a HCN. They actually gave you problems? Did they discourage volunteers from dating? That's a little strange. Two years and they expect us not to get to know the people we live and work with?!?! That's more than a little unreasonable!

You figure after waiting 3 months at least during the filing process.....that if you needed sumthing or RFE, they would let you know and not at the 5th month mark after recieving NOA1....
