I'm jelouse u guys can go see your loved ones :P ...no I'm kidding Im happy for u! I wish I could go see my bb too! Uff...but its good cuz 1 month already went by!!! Lets be strong everybody!!!

1 month? I am counting 2. I filed in early September and it is early November. I need this time to go by as fast as possible. My travel is slowing down now, so I cant see my SO often.

1) What's everyone and their SO doing? I am working, my SO went back to the Philippines (From Japan) to help take care of her mom (medical)

2) What are you doing to keep yourself occupied while playing the waiting game? Sleeping pills, lots and lots of sleeping pills. :help: When your only awake about an hour a day, time just flies by.:lol: Actually, just working, but I am studying Tagalog. Since I have time on my hands, it seems like a good time to learn another language - maybe make it easier to communicate with her family when I go to the Philippines.

3) What about shopping for the holidays? Any ideas for us? I am thinking a trip to see my SO - other than that, trying to save some money. But I need to find something for her. Considering I live in Michigan, Maybe a Heavy Coat would be good :P

4) Any new hobbies? the new language study I suppose - I do recommend it. I bought the Rosetta Stone language software - it is pretty good. I have only had it for about 4 days, but I think I have already learned about as much as what I learned in a year in high school spanish.

4) Any new hobbies?

Thanks dilbert for starting a topic to keep us going!

1) What's everyone and their SO doing- Well I'm working in the US as an AP Admin and he's working in India as a programmer/web developer

2) What are you doing to keep yourself occupied while playing the waiting game? - Trying to stay sane since we had to wait a long time before we could file our K1. I'm been reading alot, watching TV, Movies, hanging out with my good friend Heather

3) What about shopping for the holidays? - No idea yet what I'm gonna get him for Christmas this year. =D

4) Any new hobbies? - Well I'm trying to learn Indian cooking and Hindi. I'm really going to cram for that during the last few months before he comes here. Right now I'm feeling lazy! I also do crafts, mainly scrapbooking and love listening to music.

Actually, Oct has been the lowest in the last 12 months based on the stats. Only 58-59 have been approved. So, unless there is a surge in November with the applications getting approved, we will still end up seeing May and June applicants getting approved in Novemeber. We might end up with an avg higher than what we have seen in the past for applications.

Rocky - How did you get it expedited? What's the procedure? In fact, good luck to you. You will be able to meet your fiance/fiancee soon if it gets approved. Then, we will be "jealous" like you...just kidding. We will be very happy for you, cause we know what you might be going thro'

We requested expedited because Rocky is deployed in Iraq right now...we called last night cuz they never got back to us and they told us they sent us an email already days ago but we never got it...they said they'll send it again...we'll see!! I guess they'll ask us for his deployment orders...I'll let u know if they approve it or no...we're crossing our fingers and hoping we all have a fast approval!

Hey Karri - no issues. This wait is already consuming all of us, but I think it is up to us whether we want to get depressed or keep ourselves occupied . Hence this thread. I still don't see a lot of participation. C'mon CSC Filers. We are not this quiet usually, are we ? :)

1) I work in the US in Hi tech and my SO works in India in consulting.

2)Talking to each other, every day, getting together with friends, watching election news - was a good distractor so far, spending time in the gym etc...

3) No ideas yet for shopping, will have to plan on something soon

4) No new hobbies. Just reading some period fiction.

Karri - Like you I am waiting to hear from others as well!!!

Giuly and Rocky - Good luck to you both!! All the very best in getting the visa soon.

1: I am a School Teacher and my fiancee is in the Military. Lucky for me my work is crazy busy right now so the days are just flying by. He is a single dad, so his days are always busy too.

2: I finish my current job in about 3 weeks and since I have to move in any case I am going through all my stuff and deciding what I need to keep, packing that up and mailing it to my fiancee. Its keeping me very busy. I also send way to much time playing and chatting online.

3: My fiancee loves puzzels and they are a lot cheaper here in Korea than they are in the US, so I am thinking to get him a few puzzels, but its difficult to find something a guy would like.

4: Packing ;-)

Idont want much cartoon or anime.

It will be nice to see 40 - 50 + approvals for the next few weeks. They we can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel for January approval of I-129F.

So, fellow Sept filers, what else is going on? We are awfully quiet bunch, aren't we????

I see there are about 30-40 folks filed in Sept...probably lurking in this board and not talking about this....

................................ Waiting

I just wanna share a song with you guys. This song is from one of the good Filipino singer. His name is Gary Valenciano. This is my all-time favorite song that I usually sing for my Bebe ko when I'm in mood.

" HOW DID YOU KNOW "

I remember so well

The day that you came into my life

You asked for my name

You had the most beautiful smile

My life started to change

I'd wake up each day feeling alright

With you right by my side

Makes me feel things will work out just fine

CHORUS

How did you know

I needed someone like you in my life

That there was an empty space in my heart

You came at the right time in my life

I'll never forget

How you brought the sun to shine in my life

And took all the worries and fears that I had

I guess what I'm really trying to say

It's not everyday that someone like you comes my way

No words can express how much I love you

Repeat Chorus

Follow the link to hear the music >>> http://www.tristancafe.com/music/flash/howdiduknow.html
