Hi! I got the letter telling me that Moscow has approved our application (I-130 & g325a) and been given an interview date. But there is nothing in the letter to tell my wife what to bring to the interview. I emailed Moscow, they said to bring whatever was mentioned in their letter, but nothing is mentioned. Does anyone know what other forms i will need to fill out? So far they have not asked for anything since I sent the I-130 & g325a. They have just given us an interview time and date.

Strange... It's possible though that's there's something else on its way to you. You will need the DS-230 and I-864 for the interview plus all supporting documents. If you don't receive something very soon, I would call again to say that although you've had the letter with the interview date, you have not received instructions about the financial support form, the medical, or anything else.

You will receive two letters, one addressed to you and the other addressed to her. Her packet will contain the actual appointment letter and everything else that you need, including a list of documents that she brings with her to the interview.

Yeah, the package for her came in the mail.

I have a question though.

I will be using a joint sponsor.

So the joint sponsor Fills in the I-864 and puts their name in Part 1 - 1 and checks box "d" because they will be the only joint sponsor. Right?

Wait! Do I have to fill one of these things out too? Even though I am using a joint sponsor?

Yep. You fill out a I-864 as the main sponsor and the joint sponsor fills out another and checks "only joint sponsor".
