How long does it take to receive Visa after passing interview?

Timeline

How long does it take to receive Visa after passing interview? I know it can depend on the area you live in. My fiancee has her interview on a Tuesday so would she get her visa by that Friday in Cebu?

Flight to Cebu Jan 2008

Engaged Jan, 2008

Sent I 129F Feb 14, 2008

NOA #1 received Feb 20, 2008

NOA #2 July 23, 2008

NOA #2 hard copy received Jul 30, 2008

I-129F received at NVC July 31, 2008

NVC letter received Aug 04, 2008

Called Call center papers are there Aug 12, 2008

Medical August 21-22, 2008

*Approved* Sept 02, 2008

*Visa received September 13, 2008*

Fiancee ARRIVED SEPTEMBER 19, 2008

Married Nov 19, 2008

It depends on what slip she received during the interview...

For PINK SLIP only, she will received VISA like 7-10days since she is in province. But sometimes it comes earlier and sometimes delayed. In my case, I got WHITE SLIP after 3days I got my VISA already!

FOR PINK & WHITE SLIP...nobody can tell how long will it takes...

GOOD LUCK...Hope she can received her VISA the soonest time..

Congrat on passing the interview. To get passport depends on the doc approval. that could take one day to I do not know how long. It took about six (6) weeks to get a visa. The same day it was release from the emabassy it was delivered to her by 2 PM there that same day. Sonia lived in Angeles City, Pamapanga (sp?). So no telling. I feel phone call helps. I waiting unit the five week to start calling and then thing start to happen. Go Luck. God bless

Mar 20, 2006 Found out Sonia was Pregnant

Oct 7, 2006 Our son was born

Nov 5, 2006 Arrived in the Philippine for a visit

Nov 11, 2006 Had our son Basptized

Nov 19, 2006 Left the Philippines again

July 31, 2007 Mailed inI 129 F was mailed in

Aug 13, 2007 Received

Sep 25, 2007 I 797 Notice of Action Mailed out

Feb 25, 2008 NAO2 has been approve sent to Manila.

Mar. 31, 2008 Made phone call about interview set dates

Apr. 15, 2008 Medical Exam St. Luke (GOOD TO GO!!!!!)

Apr. 24, 2008 Interview(APPROVED AND WAITING VISA)

Jun. 6, 2008 Finally got Visa at about VISA[/size]

Aug. 05, 2008 On a jet plane head for the Philippines to get my family

Aug. 06, , 2008 we are together again

AUGUST 19, 2008 POE Seattle, WA.

NOV. 8, 2008 Wedding

"Theres no guarantee when u will recieve ur visa might be a 3 days,1 to 2 weeks,months,,but the best thing to do is pray hard and give ur faith and trust to our dear lord..and good luck on her incoming interview!!!!

got mine in 5 working days and i live in General Santos City in Mindanao..Hope she will have her visa soon..Good Luck

Aug.22,2008- Interview PASSED (Pink Slip Only)

Aug.29,2008- VISA ON HAND

Sept.3,2008- POE Houston TX

October 25, 2008 - Officially Mrs. Eaton

AOS Timeline:

March 10, 2009 - AOS package sent to USCIS via FedEx

March 12, 2009 12:21pm - AOS package delivered to USCIS

March 20, 2009 - Check cashed

March 21, 2009 - NOA1 for I-485, I-131 and I-765

March 24, 2009 - Received Biometrics Appointment

April 4, 2009 - Case transferred to CSC

April 7, 2009 - Biometrics appointment is done

May 4, 2009 - AP approval notice received

May 8,2008 - EAD received

June 3, 2009 - Welcome notice from CRIS via email

June 8, 2009 - Receive hard copy of welcome notice on the mail

June 15, 2009 - Card production ordered

June 27, 2009 - Green Card on hand ( 2 years )

Dec 17, 2008---WELCOME NOTICE RECEIVED

Jan 9, 2009---CARD RECEIVED FINALLY! Approval date 12-10-08..expires on 12-10-10
