My Husband sent his DS-3032 via email on 8-30-08. He received instant auto reply from NVC on 8-30-08. Can anyone share the processing time it took for this document to get posted in the NVC system via email? Trying to determine what method is quicker.

Thanks (F)

generally takes 10 days for the email to get acknowledged. If you have signed DS3032 its quicker depending on how fast you use the mail service.

Good Luck!

 That's what I did. I got mine here first, scanned and emailed it to him - he signed and faxed it back and then I overnighted it to them.

It only took a few days for them to acknowledge receipt.

Good luck on your journey!

That is great! so a copy with his signature was acceptable. I will do the same for back-up to his email. Thanks for sharing. (F)

Many documents that I sent were faxed to me by my husband and he's in the US now, so yeah they did accept it

But the only thing, I highlighted the fax number on the top of every paper he sent. He'd go to a cyber cafe, print it out from the email I sent, sign it, fax it to me at work and I would put it on top, paper clipped to a printed copy (un signed ) on the bottom that I'd already filled out. I only did this because sometimes with the faxes things get smaller and it was a CYA for me that they could see all of the info very clearly!

But again I used a yellow highlighter and highlighted the top of the fax where it showed the Tunisian phone number area code "216"

Good luck!

They never questioned it and accepted all of our paperwork this way!!
