NUFC say they have NOT sacked King Kev. I suspect he was going to quit, but the club are trying to persuade him to stay. Just like Sir John Hall did back in 92 when he first walked out on the club. KK has his flaws (who doesn't?) but I, like every Geordie across the world are praying he stays. Though I still expect to hear he's left the club at his own free will.

Hopefully the only man leaving is that wee runt Wise.

It shouldn't come as a surprise to you Damian. Nothing has changed in the 10 years since Sir John Hall left his position as chairman. The club has been run by amateurs, right now Freddie Shepherd is being made to look like a football genius by Mike Ashley.

To think that lot that took over city, were considering Newcastle!! We could have been thinking about Ronaldo & Torres coming to the toon!!

Always hated visits to the Dell!! Was down there twice with Newcastle, both times we were looking good until Matt Le Tissier threw a spanner in the works!! Not been to St Mary's though.

Wouldn't that be classified as a miracle? If very lucky, England might just scrape a victory (but I've been wrong before B) but it would only be because Croatia is being very cocky and overly sure of themselves. Reading their papers today, you'd think there will be public lynching should they lose. Should be an interesting game...

Well where did that performance come from!!???? Great stuff. Thought Rooney was sublime second half (about the only thing I agreed with Chris Waddle on all night - man, that bloke talks a load of ####) and fair play to Walcott - a product of the Southampton youth system, I would remind you all.
