I watched my last Saints game for what will probably be many years today. And it was shite. I know they (the players) didn't know that I would be leaving for foreign shores in 3 weeks time (because if they had have known, they clearly would have put on a better show) but still and all, I really didn't want to go out with such a wimper - bunch of #######.

I'm so frustrated; I need to take it out on someone: Pooky, you're a skate c**t.:lol:

Miss going to St James every other Saturday. But by christ I'm glad I don't have to endure the ####### this season in person. Looks likely we will need to subscribe to setanta next season. :crying:

I gave up watching Pompey live years ago, after watching my team score all 4 goals in a 2:2 draw with Blackburn. Never saw them win a match at Fratton Park.

Damian, you're a fat smelly, Scummer

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

Ive had Setanta here now for two weeks after some troubles with my cable company who im sure are the old NTL in disguise. So I got dish and Setanta. Setanta gets first pick of the football games here. Im finding im watching it more then fox soccer and I love the rugby on it.

Do they? Things must have changed since I was there then, cuz Fox Soccer Channel screened every Premiership game that SKY did in the UK, plus quite a few "blackout" games (i.e. between 3pm-5pm Saturdays, when games aren't allowed to be shown here) too.

The only reason I bothered with Setanta was because they showed Championship games.

Haha.

I'm a Spurs fan. Been a season ticket holder since I was 5, went to my first game at 2. My grandad started supporting Spurs in 1921 when they won the cup (I think that makes him the original glory supporter), and the family has had season tickets since.

Me leaving for the US (IF I get the visa, of course) would see my Dad probably call it a day too.

I'm not expecting many people to understand this, but it's really the only thing I could see as a reason to stay, and I feel very ####### about almost letting my Dad down and perhaps even more so having to give up the tickets and the final link between myself and my grandad.

I know you're not reading this, but sorry Dad, and sorry Grandad (RIP)

I understand, mate. Totally. As would any real football fan (i.e. those who pay their hard earned money to go through the turnstiles every week).

Setanta show early Saturday morning games. They show early Sunday games as well as mid week games alongside the UEFA and FA Cup games that fox don't show. I love watching the Champions League in HD on ESPN as well. Setanta shows the games that ESPN don't show.

The last football match I went too across the pond was Tranmere V Northampton town. Im orginally from The Wirral and used to live in Northampton for 6 years so it was a match I had to go too.

It does appear that Setanta get to pick the best 3pm game on Saturdays. FSC shows all the games that Sky shows and a different Saturday 3pm game. Usually a Bolton/Boro and the likes snooze fest.

Now I'm working, I'll will probably get Setanta for next season.

Hope they see it that way :D

It's only a game, right?! :(
