Thanks for remembering us! We left the dog with the in-laws last night and off we go to Ciudad Juarez...Medical on Wednesday, probably a document check on Thursday, and the appointment bright and early on Friday. Mexico is a crazy country to file in due to the sheer number of applicants being processed every day. But I think we're ready and prepared to be flexible.

Long story short, we have a complicated case. We've been at this for nearly 5 years. You can read our story here. I highly recommend our attorney Laurel Scott, as well as attorneys Laura Fernandez and Lizz Cannon .

Filed I-130 via CSC in Feb 2008. Petition approved June 2008. Consular interview in Mexico, Oct 2008, visa denied, INA 212a6cii. We allege improper application of the law in this case.

2012, started over in Seoul: I-130 filed DCF on 7/2, I-130 approved 8/8, Medical at Yonsei Severance 11/20, IR1 appointment in November 2012.

Well I'm one of the few sad August complete dates that still has no appointment scheduled. The Dominican Embassy is taking 3-4 months now... I'm hoping that something works out for November, but if not it might be December. When should I start calling the NVC to find out if we have a NOV appt. I know they say the second week of the month, but dont they start early sometimes?

When you cal the automatic voice system, when it says case sent blah blah blah, then you will know you have that interview date - then you can call back if you wish and get a real live person and ask exactly what that interview date may be before getting it in the mail

:crying: I am sorry to hear that. I really hope you get a November interview just keep calling. The usually start the second week when I called the first week they just keep telling me to call the second week. Just give it a try the second week. Sometimes it extends to the third week. Hang in there and good luck. :thumbs:
