Actually your co-sponsor needs to fill out an I-864, the I-864A is for household members of the co-sponsor

The I-864A can also be used for household members of the primary sponsor. Maybe this what the OP meant? In any case, maybe a little more info on your situation might help.

Good luck!

Your co-sponsor needs tax transcripts (or W2 + 1040 tax return), photocopy of US passport or naturalization cert or birth cert to prove US citizenship, if he is a household member, you will need to submit documents to prove relationships between the sponsor and co-sponsor i.e. birth cert, marriage cert, etc.

May be you can tell us how is the co-sponsor related to the sponsor, then someone can tell you exactly what documents you need to submit to NVC.
