Again, the fantasy specialists from the DOP unite. I don't see any 'ombamabot' activity regarding the choice of VP for McCain. Some interesting speculation, but no robotics.

Why are some liberals so pissed about McCain's VP selection? Nervous, maybe?

I tend to think that his choice was based on the fact that HE is the one that is nervous.

My only comments to this whole thread is - McCain has just nullified any arguments he and Republican Party make about Obama not being qualified to be President or lacking the experience. IMO, McCain's camp knows that if he's got a chance at winning, he has to garner enough of Hillary's supporters. I think he would have done better by choosing Gov. Pawlenty, but now that the choice was made, I look forward to the upcoming debates.

Why has no one mentioned that Palin's "taking on big oil" was about raising a tax on oil companies so she as to increase the annual give-away check to state residents! Maybe there's a place for her in the Obama White House??!

my dad was pretty smart but he was inept on a computer. just because someone does not know how to use a computer that does not instantly make them dumb.

This is relevant, not because he isn't a skilled computer user, but because he has been so far removed from reality. Think about it: computers have been common household appliances, so to speak, for at least 15 years. Do you want a president that is 15 years out of date?
