Thank you for all of the help. The stresses and strains of being apart so long have been difficult enough, but there wasn't so much to get my head around. I find it odd we are down to the wire and now I am more worried than ever lol! Need to get a grip here, the remainder of this should be a cake walk compared to the last 17 months we have gone through not knowing what was next or when we would be back in the running of this journey. ****DEEP BREATH****

Daisy was slightly ahead of us and waiting on an interview. I think she was cr1 but i could be wrong.

I don`t see any comments here from yodrak. Did you mean me or am i being egotistical again?

I am also worried about my address change taking effect. My mail should be forwarded but it might delay me finding out.

My wife says it is now my turn to stress over the visa process. My turn to bat as she puts it. I am worried about everything it is true. Throughout the process i was mr cool calm and collected and now i am just stressing that they will find my politics objectionable or say i am not rich enough. Both these things very unlikely i hope but the fear is still there. I just want a date so i know when to be really excited for.

Euro and Aussiewench have been very helpful to me and my wife through our journey aswell as countless others who i forget right now to my shame but i shall just say good luck to all visa journey folks and a special good luck to all CR1 London folks.

 woops yodrak, yabasta lol kind of sort of close! My appologies to the both of you.

You have nothing to worry about, your financial situation doesn't apply and I don't think they will be looking into your views on politics anytime soon.

I ask Tim today if he was at all nervous, since it is now his turn to "step up to bat" he claimed no stress at all. For some odd reason I am the one worrying, perhaps because it is out of my hands at this point? It was good to find out he was sorting through some of the paperwork, getting yet another request for police certificate in the post because the first one has expired. He has been so down for such a long time, and this is giving him a big boost.

I made the mistake of looking at some of the waiver posts last night, then could not sleep. My heart was going out to all the people posting on their I-601's, and my brain was doing the whole "what if" thing. It made me have a system overload. Guess it is just normal for us all to worry.

yeah to be honest i have not even anticipated not getting the visa. I mean i have had crazy thoughts like i mentioned but deep down i think they are just crazy thoughts. Just things to fill my mind. Today i thought about getting another police certificate just to be safe. Not sure what date mine is now.

Mostly i just want to know when my turn to bat is.

Looks like your cert. should be okay.

When you are unsure of everything taking place outside of your control, it is easy to have silly unnecessary thoughts. At least in my case.

An interview date has not yet been scheduled on your behalf. Please be assured that you will be notified in writing as soon as a date has been scheduled for the final visa interview.

NVC hasn't sent you anything stating your case has been forwarded to the consulate? We are going through London embassy at this point, all of us out of NVC. Surely someone can give you the email address to the consulate you will be going through, don't know why you can't also call the number euro posted above for the Dept of State.

dept of state ?? I could call nvc no prob,

but would expect a answer telling me they have 8 weeks to give us the

interview date.

so the simple question was - that we canadians do not have e mail access

UNTIL case is at montreal for CR-1. NVC SET OUR DATE !!!

SO THE PHONE is the only communication to ask when the interview will be set.

unless we wait for snail mail

Sorry unfamiliar with any other consulate. Hopefully someone will pop on here and help you out. If I were you I would still call the NVC and speak to a live person, just because you CAN! You just never know you might hear an interview date!
