G-325A - Question about employment history

Hi All

I'm working on my G-325A and have a question about listing employment. I was employed full-time by the same company for 18 years up until April 2007. I then took voluntary redundancy in order to go to college.

I know I need to put "unemployed" on the G-325A for the time between April 2007 until the present date, but I want to show them that I have been in further education and haven't been sitting twiddling my thumbs!

Just looking for ideas on how best to do this ...

I wrote in "Please see attached résumé" and... natch.... attached my résumé. I couldn't be bothered filling all that in when I had a perfectly good résumé already completed. LOL

Thanks for your fast reply Krikit. I have only worked for the one company within the last five years so don't have a resume :no: I was going to wait until I get my Diploma and then organize one ....

I really don't want to have to go through putting one together as I'm going crossed-eyed by the amount of time I'm already on the PC getting these forms filled in! Great idea though! :D

I really don't blame you. I hate putting together resumes too. I would put "attended school/university/college" or somesuch instead of "unemployed". But it probably doesn't matter much. Don't they ask about education on that form anyway? It's been a long time. :lol:

My husband put down "Pursuing a postgraduate degree" and the university.

Thank you! Pursuing additional college diploma sounds better than just attending college ... :thumbs:
