Our interview is there tomorrow, so I'll hopefully have a full report soon.

The office is located a few blocks away from the Mall of America off America Blvd. Tamer and I did a drive by yesterday, just so we don't get hopelessly lost 15 minutes before the interview

Just want to say good luck and congrats on your interview. Like it was said above, if you just read up on peoples experiences on their interviews in general you will get the right idea of what is to be expected.

We just did our interview last thursday, all i can say that it was really stress free and painless :)

The officer who did our interview was very polite and professional. Good thing that you have yours early in the morning, so you won't wait forever ;)

We've been asked just few questions, mostly informations from petition like date and place of birth, date and place of marriage, address and that kind of stuff.

As of documents he wanted to see it was only our ID's, marriage certificate, employment letters and some bills with our names and address.

The whole interview took about 10 minutes.

Good luck with yours :)

Has anyone that has their case transferred to CSC for processing that was originally to have AOS interview scheduled to take place at the ST Paul office. Just curious? Our interview appoint is also on the 19th of July, but I prefer to have the case transferred with no interview at all =)

thanks all you guys. It seems that no one had a bad experience there, so I will hope for the same. Just wondering what docs to take as they seem to ask for a lot of things that we sent in with our application. I guess will take everything on the check list and hope for the best.

We were approved yesterday  Tamer and I are going to write a full review in a little while, but here's the nitty gritty:

We arrived at 11:30. You should go to the little door on the front left of the building, not the main doors. There were a few other couples waiting. I was suprised with all the people who wore jeans. Our appointment was at 12:30, and we actually got interviewed around 12:45. She went through almost the entire I-485 and asked my husband his name, address, birthdate, parents, where he was born, where I was born, what my birthday is etc etc etc.

Then she asked me about my job and for my employment letter.

Then, how we met, when we met in person. She took notes on all of this on the back of our I-485 form.

Then, about our wedding here. She gave us a funny look when we said no one we knew came and strangers were our witnesses :hehe: but, when we explained the whole money issue and reception later, she looked more relaxed.

Then, she took every single piece of evidence we brought. Pictures, cable bills, electric bills, bank statements, copies of cards from friends, insurance letter, letter from my company stating husband is husband on my file there, joint tax returns for 2005, joint car registration, copy of marriage certificate registered at Egyptian embassy, everything. I was really suprised she took all of it. She asked if she could keep it, and we're like, umm, yeah, that's why we made all the copies.

Then, she took out his I-94, gave him a stamp in his passport good for a year and said to expect his greencard in a few weeks. The whole thing took about 20 minutes.

wow....congrats and thanks for sharing. It seems like they wanted a lot from you. Must I make copies of all my wedding pics, cards and letters etc? I was just going to make copies of all the documents to give them, but just take my wedding album to show them pics......hope they don't want to keep that  What do you think? Oh and did they ask for the medical or vaccination...we submitted that all with the application, but some people are asked...were you? thanks again and enjoy the next few years unbothered by all of this.
