hi! i just want to know if all applicants undergo tuberculin test? and what will happen if the result of the tuberculin test is positive? i heard that most of filipinos have positive tuberculin test.

Hi. So far in this forum I knew only few who undergone tuberculin test but i knew many that did not undergo tuberculin test. The "most" that became positive were the kids and basically it's normal for a kids to be positive on the first test.

If the result of your x-ray says positive then you will have to undergo TST. And more diagnostic procedures will follow to confirm active TB.
