Welcome to vj! You will be fine.. when we sent in our K-1 initial application all we had for proof of having met in person was a couple of pictures of the two of us together.. I drove to see him and he me before that so we had no boarding passes or stamps or anything like that.. we also put in an explanation of why we didn't have that much proof.. You will be fine I'm sure.. We have had no problems on the journey, and i'm sure you wont either Good luck!

I'm really suprised how many people think, by trying to enter USA while the VISA process is ongoing in may cause problems.

I think it has to do with all the stories you read on VJ of things gone wrong

It's because there are so many of us who did get that A-hole POE officer who then barred us from entry until the visa was completed. I was driving back and forth to Cleveland almost weekly until I got that A-hole POE officer. After a four? five? (I forget) hour interrogation, and that word is far too kind for what he did to me, he turned me back, and made notes on my record that should I attempt to enter the US again before I had my K-1 in hand, that I would be charged with fraud and barred for 5 years. It's been 11 months since that happened, and I haven't been across since (obviously).

Some people have no problems. A lot of us do.
