Hi all!

I haven't been around much as we went to vegas....it was great! we didn't much time to check out wedding venues though...so we are planning to go again...my question is how many times can you actually use the visa waiver program? I want to fly back to the states in June but I'm worried I won't be allowed back on the waiver...

I can't find anything online about a 'limit' on the times allowed....

Any idea?

thanks!

There is no limit to how much you can use your visa waiver, so long as you follow the guidelines which is not exceeding the allowed timelimit of 3 months.

What problems you may encounter:

Depending on the POE, and which officer you get... they can look at your passport and notice a pattern of travel from you. If it looks like you've been entering the states for long periods of time, they might not be as lenient towards you, vice somebody who comes back for shorter periods of time. It might even work the opposite way. Some officers could care less and let you pass, some might just be having a bad day and tell you to return home even though it's only your second time coming to the US. One officer even told my fiance to find a boyfriend to marry in the States... which I thought was funny because it can be termed as "immigrant intent." It all depends on who you get. Whatever you do, don't tell them you intend to get married in the states. Just tell them that you enjoyed your time in Vegas, and you'd like to go again.

One thing you might want to carry is something that shows ties to your country, that will prove to them that you intend on returning, like a mortgage, a letter from your employer, bank statements, etc... don't bring everything... it will just send off the wrong message to them.

Good luck... from the sound of it, I think you'll be fine.

My fiance is Australian too.
