Any idea for processing times?

Anyone has an idea when the new processing times are coming out or gona be posted?

They should be posting the August 15th Information soon - they're overdue.

After that, there should be data generated for September 15th and that will be posted at some point after then (they're not at all reliable about posting it)

I find it pretty sad. They use to update their timelines every two weeks. Now it's whenever they feel like it. And we have to pay them for this. Jeez!

The thing I don't understand is - it should be possible to do it automatically - why isn't it done automatically?

They clearly have a DB containing the information about approvals, filing dates and Service centers, for each case type - it wouldn't be that hard to pull that data as part of an automated process (weekly would be fine if it's a large DB - heck, on a weekend so it doesnt slow anyone down in the system) and have it generate a page automatically...

Even if the source system is arcane with no query interface, that could be solved by pulling a subset of the data into a temporary SQL database through data-conversion... I've done exactly this sort of thing many times before.... and there's lots of ways to prevent the possible security/privacy risks too...

The fact is they already have a DB used for Case Status online, with a couple of extra fields added to that data they could just use that as the basis for their automated processing times reports.

If it would speed up my case I'd happily help do it for free! lol

If the process to calculate and post the current processng date were automated, that would not allow for falsification or "massaging" the information.

You don't really believe the posted processing dates are accurate, do you? There's some politics in there.
