My husband had his interview today and it appears to me that it didnt go very well. It was the black man and he ask him maybe 2 questions. The last question was has your wife taken any money from you for immigration purposes? Then he told him he was putting him on AP and would call him back in 2 months. I dont think any amount of money would be worth this bull #######. Are they kidding? Anyway I have a feeling this is gonna be quite a wait for us. I am thinking maybe a year or two. There was another man there also that had an interview and he didnt even ask him one question he just put him on AP also and said they would call him in 2 months. What is messing us up is because I had put in a petition for another person a couple years ago and I broke it off because i suspected fraud on his part. Now they think I am taking money for this i guess. My question is, I am going there in November . Do you think the embassy will let me in to follow up on our case? I plan on emailing them and telling them I will be there at that time and hopefully they can give me an appointment to talk to a consulate.

Another thing is my husband had all kinds of proof but they never asked to see anything. I think he froze up because he should of told them what he had. But i can't blame him for that , those people can sure make you feel nervouse when they dont believe you. I guess all I can do is focus on my visit to see him this November.

Hello 2nod journey,

I am sorry to hear about how your husband's interview experience went. I will tell you that my husband was asked a few questions and no evidence looked at then told the case was fine just needed AP and only 45 days until it finalized. Turned out he had a field investigation as well as waiting in AP for 5 months before he was sent a letter to return to the embassy with his passport. After he got his letter he went back with it and his passport and they kept it and then sent it back to him via courier within 5 business days. Hopefully, you will just have to wait out the AP and I would say from my knowledge that there will be one or more field investigations to verify the forms and any evidence that was submitted on your behalf.

My question is, I am going there in November . Do you think the embassy will let me in to follow up on our case? I plan on emailing them and telling them I will be there at that time and hopefully they can give me an appointment to talk to a consulate.

In the past a few ladies have went back to the embassy and were allowed in and were only told the case is in AP and you have to wait it out. You can try to see if you get any different results.

All men coming from Islamabad have more security checks than other countries and with marriage visas in the past their in AP for 5 months as a minimum. This is the trend that I have seen over and over since we started our process in 2005. I will continue to remember you in my prayers.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.
