i know some people who did that..

they just used MNL number and paid delbros, case not even at USEM yet..

but i guess people here got better answers.. :innocent:

Precisely. But K1/K3 against Cr1/IR1 has different procedures in terms of paying delbros or scheduling interviews.

huh??

from the site.. http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html

Document Verification Fee

* Applicants whose visa eligibility is dependent upon their marital status (i.e. K-1, K-3, CR-1, IR-1, F-1 and F2-B categories) will normally need to have their documents verified through the National Statistics Office (NSO) before the U.S. Embassy in Manila can issue the visa. Those with a delayed birth or death certificate or only local civil registrar copies of such documents may need to have their documents verified.

it says visa eligibility and not paying procedures..

i dnt think there are "different procedures for different visas" in paying delbros..

never heard of that.. :innocent:

Well indeed it is! I spoke to Ms. Lorraine & Grace regarding CR1/IR1 many times about Delbros docs. verifications. I don't rely too much on the embassy's website do you? coz if it is, you will not be here on vj asking help when u're still on ur visa process. With all due your respect I am not here to give confusion to my co-CR1 filer/s and using emoticons to give double meaning with your statement is a no-no to me. Thanks.

QOUTE: "USEM will give u the appointment that is why..

if your case isnt at USEM yet or is not yet on their (USEM) electronic file they cant/wont give you a schedule..

and in paying delbros, i know that as long as you have the MNL case number, you can already pay them..

just sharing what i know based from my experience and and my friends' experiences.. ;) "

I beg to disagree in CR1/IR1 visa is NOT the U.S. Embassy-Manila (USEM) to set the appointment date but instead it is the National Visa Center (NVC). May be you and your friends were not on this type of visa probably K1/K3. She can't pay DELBROS because her documents are still with NVC. If she will pay now, what kind of documents information will USEM forward to Delbros Office without her documents from NVC for Docs. Verifications? makes sense right? Oohhh by the way, I am also sharing from my own case and friends CR1/IR1 expreriences. Thanks and have a good day to you.

u maybe right abt the schedule thing that for ir/cr cases that NVC sets the appointment..

but thing is i based my comment abt the delbros payment procedure on my ir/cr friends..

and that's what the thread is all about..

and just cos im not on ir/cr doesnt mean i cant post here and give advice abt the "delbros payment"..

CAN ANYONE TELL ME.. CAN I PAY FOR DELEBROS FOR VERIFICATION OF DOCS, EVENTHOUGH IM WAITING FOR A NVC TO GIVE ME A APPOINTMENT DATES???

You cant do a Delbros Verification until you have MNL case number, which means it has to pass through USEM first. Delbros will not verify without a valid MNL case. You can read it about in USEM website http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html or http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfdelb.pdf It requires that you have a valid MNL for Delbros to start processing any cases.

it is true that they have to send to usem first... but in this case maybe it was sent to usem but there is no available time for an interview...she is only waitng for the interview date assignment

HELLO SIR I ALREADY HAVE MY MNL CASE # JUST WAITING TILL NVC ASSIGN ME A APPOINTMENT DATES AND SEND IT TO THE USEM HERE... MY CASE IS COMPLETE LAST AUG 21 2008

NO dear, you can't pay delbros yet. You have to wait for your documents to reach USEM, the moment they receive it thats the ONLY TIME to pay. DELBROS WILL NOT VERIFIED WITHOUT THE DOCUMENTS INFORMATION FROM USEM. Thanks

i know some people who did that..

they just used MNL number and paid delbros, case not even at USEM yet..

but i guess people here got better answers.. :innocent:

Precisely. But K1/K3 against Cr1/IR1 has different procedures in terms of paying delbros or scheduling interviews.

this is wrong cause document verification is the same for both cri and k1 we both pay 650 and it pass thru delbros usem then nso to delbros then usem the consul... theres really no difference...

Hey, I just finished reading this stuff and I really dont think that its anything to do with a superiority issue; filiricans never really stated that; and the true fact remains that filiricans is actually correct!... it would actually be a waste of time for any one to pay for the delbros if the NVC has not yet given them an appointment date for their interview or even FORWARDED their DOCUMENTS to U.S.EM... Which documents would delbros verify if they are not at the U.S.Embassy in manila? THINK ABOUT THAT ONE FOLKS!... PEACE OUT!. By the way I am also CR1 and I had to go thru the same procedure as filiricans and many other CR1 V.J.s.

All I can say is WOW! this board truly surprises me sometimes. I usually just sit back and just read all the stupid things that people put on this board within a 24 hour period to get my laugh for the day when they have nothing of use to say, but this time I just had to step in and say something. Yes, Filiricans is correct. I mean come on here it does not take degree to figure this out. Why would you pay delbros to verify something that they do not have? Plus where would they even begin without a MNL#? LOL but anyway when it comes to the CR-1, point fact it is a "superior" visa compared to your typical everyday K-Visas just for the simple fact that there are so many more benefits that come with the CR-1 versus the K-Visas, the CR-1 visa is the thing that is superior not the individual holding it.

LOOK, WE'RE A CR1 FILER AND DONE WITH THE DELBROS PAYMENT, NOW IM JUST WAITING ON MY INTERVIEW THIS SEPT. FILIRICANS IS CORRECT AND YOUR STATEMENT WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTEXT! I MEAN WHAT ARE YOU? AN INSTIGATOR BRINGING FUEL TO THE FIRE? TO ME VISA JOURNEY ISN'T JUST A PLACE TO POST MIS-INFORMATION FOR THE SIMPLE REASON THAT THE INFORMATION BEING GIVEN IN THIS SITE CAN AND WILL AFFECT PEOPLES LIVES HERE!. IF PEOPLE LISTEN TO BAD INFORMATION AS WAS BEING GIVEN BY ENVY ME, IT COULD MEAN A LONGER WAITING PERIOD FOR SOMEONE AND IM NOT TALKING ABOUT MINUTES OR HOURS OR DAYS HERE! IM TALKING ABOUT MONTHS AND YEARS!. THIS IS A SERIOUS PLACE WHERE IN WE NEED TO SHARE OUR OWN EXPERIENCES WITH ONE ANOTHER IN ORDER TO HELP EACH OTHER! WE ARE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT HERE! AS I SAID BEFORE, WE NEED TO MAKE SURE ABOUT EXACTLY WHOM IS GIVING THE CORRECT INFO HERE AND WHO IS WRONG!. FILIRICANS WAS ONLY MAKING SURE THAT OTHER V.J.RS GET THE RIGHT INFO!. IS ALL. HAVE A GREAT DAY!.

In our case yes I am, it depends on how u discuss ur intentions to usem we have everything done thru them and YES I DO MIND! I know exactly the reason of what VJ is here for. I never said u brought confusion HERE? but look and read carefully those responses above DO I NEED MORE TO SAY OR EXPLAIN MYSELF TO U? WHO ARE U IN THE FIRST PLACE??? for me to occupy my time in wasting it with the likes of you. :bonk: And by the way, I tell u Im not short so don't worry about stooping to my level? I have my own level, I am a level headed person. It's not because u already there in the US that u have the advantage of giving double meaning comments here with us.
