CAN ANYONE TELL ME.. CAN I PAY FOR DELEBROS FOR VERIFICATION OF DOCS, EVENTHOUGH IM WAITING FOR A NVC TO GIVE ME A APPOINTMENT DATES???

hi, USEM will be the one to give you the appointment date..

if you already got your MNL number, yes u can pay delbros..

cos you'll be needing that case number..

yes i have my manila # and Nvc already complete my application and NVC told me to wait till i have my appointment date. and they i will forward my docs in USEM manila

You cant do a Delbros Verification until you have MNL case number, which means it has to pass through USEM first. Delbros will not verify without a valid MNL case. You can read it about in USEM website http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html or http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfdelb.pdf It requires that you have a valid MNL for Delbros to start processing any cases.

NO dear, you can't pay delbros yet. You have to wait for your documents to reach USEM, the moment they receive it thats the ONLY TIME to pay. DELBROS WILL NOT VERIFIED WITHOUT THE DOCUMENTS INFORMATION FROM USEM. Thanks

i know some people who did that..

they just used MNL number and paid delbros, case not even at USEM yet..

but i guess people here got better answers..

Just follow the 2 links above if you want to pay Delbros already.... its your call, we are still giving you advise... If you think you can pay for it before your case reaches MNL then go ahead.. but I advise to wait til its in MNL as Delbros which is the official visa delivery for USEM will sometime verify the case....

Precisely. But K1/K3 against Cr1/IR1 has different procedures in terms of paying delbros or scheduling interviews.

USEM will give u the appointment that is why..

if your case isnt at USEM yet or is not yet on their (USEM) electronic file they cant/wont give you a schedule..

and in paying delbros, i know that as long as you have the MNL case number, you can already pay them..

just sharing what i know based from my experience and and my friends' experiences..

Hi there Abby, she is CR1/IR1 same as mine. She needs to wait for NVC to send her documents to USEM. Delbros just merely awaiting from the USEM to send the docs information of these visa types since all pertinent documents submitted by the petitioner has been reviewed/verified from NVC resulted to case completed, likewise the interview sked will be done by NVC too. Unlike K1/K3 the principal applicants are the one sets the interview and present the significant docs to the consul during the actual interview date. I strongly advice to just wait her documents reach USEM b4 paying Delbros.

Those with a delayed birth or death certificate or only local civil registrar copies of such documents may need to have their documents verified.

i dnt think there are "different procedures for different visas" in paying delbros..

Well indeed it is! I spoke to Ms. Lorraine & Grace regarding CR1/IR1 many times about Delbros docs. verifications. I don't rely too much on the embassy's website do you? coz if it is, you will not be here on vj asking help when u're still on ur visa process. With all due your respect I am not here to give confusion to my co-CR1 filer/s and using emoticons to give double meaning with your statement is a no-no to me. Thanks.

I beg to disagree in CR1/IR1 visa is NOT the U.S. Embassy-Manila (USEM) to set the appointment date but instead it is the National Visa Center (NVC). May be you and your friends were not on this type of visa probably K1/K3. She can't pay DELBROS because her documents are still with NVC. If she will pay now, what kind of documents information will USEM forward to Delbros Office without her documents from NVC for Docs. Verifications? makes sense right? Oohhh by the way, I am also sharing from my own case and friends CR1/IR1 expreriences. Thanks and have a good day to you.
