WHAT DOES THIS MAIL FROM NVC MEANS? WHERE IS OUR PETITION????

i got today this e mail from the NVC. after i asked if they received now, after 3 weeks, our petition. the USCIS wrote that the petition left on the 2. may. how can it be so long only on the way? and all others which dates long after us, got at least the news, that their petition has riched the NVC! what can i do??? is it possible to send a e mail as well to the USCIS to ask what happened to our petition? coz when i called them, they where not ready to give me any answer then , if it left, it left.

I think your case is already at NVC. They just haven't assigned your case yet. When they do, they will update their system.

goldie - they told us they didnt have our case for two weeks..and CSC said it was sent..then one saturday morning, NVC sent an email telling me they'd sent it to London.

When did they send it to London?

The day AFTER they said they got it - which was almost 1 week prior to the week they told me they hadnt received it yet (the 'we have sent it email contained 'date of receipt at NVC' which previously was unknown to me..and them too apparently as on the phone they said they didnt have it then!).

Not sure if you're the USC or who is. If you update your profile with the timeline info, it goes into the tracking system here on VJ that keeps statistics. I could also see who submitted the petition and who is the beneficiary.

The Schweizer(in) whichever one of you that is knows about Beamten in Europa, about Behoerden-mentalitaet. American civil servants aren't different. I've never been one though I worked with many for over ten years so I know how they act and think. Quality, logical are not in their vocabulary. Holidays, retirement, quitting time, entitlements ... those matter, values don't.
