As you are just back to posting Gary, I will not post what I was going to.

I will say this though Mr Jabberwocky - it is NOT a cakewalk (what is a cakewalk anyway?). The conservative message is a lot easier to sell to Joe American.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Go ahead, I was passing through. My days of endless arguments and dozens of new topics are over. It's obvious that the Nobama nuts think of him as some sort of a god and no amount of discussion will change that. I just had to comment on the starry eyed orgasms that our friend Steven was having. When I saw his post this is the first thing that came to mind. It describes him perfectly.

It strikes me that you (collective you as in those who support 'conservatism' somewhat blindely) and Steve are opposite sides of the same coin. Steven is wedded to Barack and doesn't appear to see any flaws, you are so anti Barack you can't see anything good about him.

I expect though that this is a perception of your respective positions and not quite your actual positions.

There's another group out there that aren't blind conservatives at all that can't see anything good about Borack either. Three sided coin. I'm a Republican and I can honestly say that I like the man. I also love the Jack in the Box commercials but I will never go to the restaurant, and as much as I love the Geico commercials I am never going to switch insurance companies!

What a great speaker he is! Excellent!

A good speaker, he is. However, I was underwhelmed by his substance. It was a list of his accomplishments in the 90's...IMO, he towed the party line as it's obvious that the party has to unify to even have a stab at November.

It takes more than clever speech writers and good oratory to sell this one.

In addition, I also thought Hillary's speech, whilst powerful, was more of a " I am supporting Obama because he's a Dem and we have to unite"....JMO but I think Hillary still has her eyes on 2012.

eta-Did anyone else notice Michelle Obama while Hillary was speaking? I got the impression alot of the time, she was very undersold by Hillary's sincerity in support of Obama. Her face was pursed lips and shooting the stink eye.......Just wondered if anyone else saw that during Hillary's speech.

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

.png

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!
