June/July/August Filers at CSC

Its been a while since I heard of a K3 approval from CSC of a CSC filer. It looks like the whole staff have been only approving the transfer cases from VSC for I130 petitions. I am happy for all those people getting approved after such a long wait. Anyway for all of us CSC filers please start letting each other know about any touches or approvals. From what has been the trend they have almost approved all the petitions upto late July. So lets hope for rest of the people getting approved.

As crazy it sounds but it is true that the last K3 approval from CSC was 2 weeks ago. Come on CSC start working on our cases too.

Some wild predictions based on calculations:

There have been 52 cases been transferred from VSC to CSC until today with the cutoff of NOA1 in first week of march. Out of 52 cases 15 have been approved with an average of 14.3 days. Therefore if we roughly estimate that it takes VSC to approve 1 case a day than it would be 37 more days before they finish working transfer cases.

There are few assumption made for this: hoping the VSC would start approving its share and wont throw any more cases. Also this is not the complete picture of all the transfer cases at CSC. Since its a random data we can use a stastical average that my calculation holds on a bigger amount of data. Something they use of Political surveys. Also this holds that nothing major drastic change comes in middle (something that already did for CSC filers who were on thier way to get approved before the transfers came along).

So considering all this I predict we will start seeing our approvals in the first week of october. According to VJ timeline its 4th week of October. I know what date I have in my mind so can you guess yours?

We have one more approval from July PJB got approved yesterday.
