Hey all!

Checked the USCIS web site today, and to my shock, we were touched today!

Went back 2 hours later, and we were APPROVED!!! :dance::dance::dance: Checked my e-mail just to make sure I wasn't in some crazy flu-induced dream (I've been sick since I got home visiting my fiance in Australia lol), and sure enough:

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On August 27, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Had to leave a message for my fiance (he was at work! Boo!) and, I hope he heard me because I was crying so much!

SO excited! Now we wait for the second leg...getting all the embassy paperwork situated as much as we can, and passing his Medical!

Thanks so much to VJ, the awesome April filing family (L), and everyone who has helped answer all my questions throughout the 4+ month process. I know I will have many more questions!!
