:help:

Tell me if I'm missing something, this is what I have:

1) medical results and xray

2) gigantic xpressport mailer

3) 2 passport photos

4) valid passport

5) about 10 or so photos from our life together

6) interview letter

7) copy of police certificate

8) copy of marriage certificate

9) copy of long form birth certificate

10) 3 years of tax returns (they sure don't look like Canadian tax returns)

11) NOA2 from USCIS

12) a sampling of plane ticket stubs

I don't have a copy of the DS-230. I never printed two versions - I am sure that is not a big deal.

Anything else - other than a paper bag or inhaler?

It's funny how quickly I forget all I learnt about such things.

I went there for a K1 though, slightly different.

It seems like you have it covered.

I hope someone else can check.

I dropped in to wish you the best of luck.

See you on the other side Cat!

Maybe just make sure you bring the originals along with you so they can peek at them (birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc)

They quickly looked at mine before taking the copies.

Everything else sounds good to me  Try not to freak out too much, it's just a formality for the most part :)

ETA: They keep the orignal of the police certificate as well, the copy would be for you to keep for your records

Actually IR1/CR1 send their originals to the National Visa Center, so they already have cats.

Heh, I don't remember what we needed to bring to the interview anymore and it was only three months ago! Also different type of visa and different consulate. BUT having the memory of a gnat does not prevent me from being able to at least wish you safe travels and good luck at the interview! Good luck, Cat!
