So as usual, the Manila US Embassy website provides no useful info and if it does it has to be hidden under a million things. So me and my Wife have filled for the AoS but we have two children who are still the Philippines who were both issued K2 visa's and are going to follow us up here in Alaska at the end of November. I had assumed that their Visa's were good for a year, I had read that somewhere but I guess it's only good for three months and then you'd have to renew it. Anyway I am trying to find out how to do this, I'm going to try to call them... but throughout this whole process I've only been able to find help here... so once again we are here asking for some help :) Thank you so very much

It appears you confused follow-to-join (up to one year) benefit with actual visa validity after issuance.. (should have been 6 mos. from issuance)..... Are you sure it was only 3 mos.?

The USEM is the place to contact as they are the only ones who can help you...

Yeah she's been here almost four months now, but the thing is their Visa's were only good from April 17th 2008, and expired on Jun 28th 2008

I mean I know that there shouldn't be any problems renewing... I just don't know how to do it :)

Something is wrong with those dates... That is only 72 days.... Even under normal guidelines they would have only been good until October 17, 2008 and you would have had issues come November

I gave the dates straight out of the Visa's. I am looking at them right now and like I said earlier that is when they were issued and when they expired. I just need to know how to renew them... I don't mean to be rude, but I have triple checked everything before I came here.

Obviously then you should have triple checked a lot earlier...............

US Embassy Manila is how to renew them.... Each location has different processes so contacting them is the only way to get it started...

YMMV
