This may sound extremely silly on my part!! I call NVC and the AVR says that my financial support documents have been reviewed and have sent out a checklist for additional information. I call NVC and speak to an Operator, I am told that I did not write my name in question #1 of the I864 form. I rechecked this form numerous times before mailing it out. I was told I need to resubmit the I864.

Questions:

Should I just use the Bar coded Coversheet from my AOS Fee invoice? The operator said it's ok to use.

Should it be Attn: to CMR or DR? The Operator said that I could use the same address as I did the first time to mail out the I864 package

Do I need to send another cover letter with a checklist? This time I will only be sending the I864 form as they have the supporting documents.

Any input is appreciated....

Hi,

If the operator says that it is ok, then i would use it. As they dont really ask for a cover letter then i think it would be ok to just send it with the barcoded sheet.

Hope it all works out.

Kahm,

Any reply of RFE needs to be Attn: DR and the rest of the address is same.. Double check with the operator.. I received the RFE checklist when they were waiting for my DS-230.. the checklist mail i got was addressed to Attn: DR . I would suggest to send another cover letter since you just have to print out the another one... Just is no harm in sending.. Also make sure you right your case number in upper right hand corner of all the documents too.. Good Luck
