NVC COMPLETED MY APPLICATION LAST AUG 21.. I WAS SOOO HAPPY TO HEAR IT MY HUBBY ALMOST CRY WHEN HE FOUND OUT THAT.. BUT THE NVC TOLD ME I NEEED TO WAIT TILL THE APPOINTMENT DATE IS AVAILABLE?? HOW LONG THAT IT WILL TAKE??? CAN ANYBODY HERE KNOW HOW LNG I WILL BE WAITING??EVEN THOUGH MY APPLICATION IS IN EXPEDITE DO I NEED TO WAIT OR THEY SHOULD PRIORITIZED IT?? Congratulations.

Just one question, why did it take you 6 days to know it was complete?

Had the AVR changed?

I called and spoke with an operator to find out that our case was closed. As of yesterday the AVR hadn't changed yet but a 2nd operator verified that yes the case has been completed.

As for the interview scheduling, it should occur during the 2nd week of September. I'm not sure, however, if your case will be scheduled beforehand since your case has been expedited.

We were told that we'd have an interview date news in September...

good luck to everyone and here's to getting that much closer to reuniting with our loved ones.

follow lot's shortcut ...it will be 3 more months ...... that is how much it took me .... NVC is fast Really fast ....... you have to submit 3 forms DS-3032, i-864, DS-230 and pay 2 fees...., IV Bill, AOS Bill...and all that will be processed in 1.5-2 months and 1 month wait for the interview ....depending on Embassy. NVC processing only taks max 2 months ....but the interview date depends on country to country .............

NVC will forward your expedite request to consulate and if consulate agrees to expedite, you will get an earlier interview date.

We didn't complete NVC processing and continue at consulate when our case got expedited.
