Medical question

I have my interview about a week before my medical due to London giving me a really eary date, so I wont have my passport for the medical, would they be okay with a photocopy of my Photo Page in my Passport?.

I am sure I have read that others had their medicals after the interview and a photocopy page was accepted.....but give them a call just for your own peace of mind

At the interview, I noted to the immigration bloke that I was having my medical later that day and that they'd requested my passport. "Oh yeah, good point" he says, and goes off to make a photocopy of it. I gave this to the Knightsbridge lot (it wasn't a particularly clear, black and white copy) and they were fine with it. I assume that as long as it's legible and you can make out the photo. If you haven't got a copier to hand, I'm sure the embassy folks will copy it for you.

I didn't have my passport because I forgot it!! Oooops. I thought my driving license would be ok and never like to take my passport out. The woman on the desk was a little annoyed with me for not having my passport and asked me why I didn't have it but she took my drivers license as ID all the same and it all worked out well. I'm certain if you have a valid excuse she will be even more accommodating to you.

Scarlett I hope London issue you an interview just as quick!, strange thing is we requested October ! .

Thanks all, and Bex good to know some first hand stuff, I guess I will take a copy of my passport photo page (it is very clear anyway) and take other ID with me just incase an issue arises.

Awesome about quick interview! We are sooo wanting a September date...Scarlett we are still waiting on P3 too! ARGHHHHHH
