Going down the Issues page on the Obama campaign website, one issue at a time, here is a list of things I do not agree with.

Civil Rights

Obama will strengthen federal hate crimes legislation.

Defense

Barack Obama supports plans to increase the size of the Army by 65,000 soldiers and the Marines by 27,000 troops.

Disabilities

Barack Obama will announce the creation of a National Commission on People with Disabilities, Employment, and Social Security which will include presidential appointees, congressional appointees and the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration and the Secretaries of Labor and Health & Human Services as ex officio members.

Barack Obama will require that employers provide seven paid sick days per year – which may be taken on an hourly basis.

Economy

Provide Additional Tax Rebates to American Workers: The economy has continued to weaken significantly, despite congressional action to provide immediate tax rebates to American consumers. Stimulus: $20 billion.

...

Barack Obama will eliminate all income taxation of seniors making less than $50,000 per year.

Energy and Environment

Barack Obama believes we have an economic emergency that requires a limited, responsible swap of light oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) for heavy crude oil to help bring down prices at the pump.

Foreign Policy

Obama will embrace the Millennium Development Goal of cutting extreme poverty around the world in half by 2015, and he will double our foreign assistance to $50 billion to achieve that goal.

Barack Obama has consistently supported foreign assistance to Israel. He defends and supports the annual foreign aid package that involves both military and economic assistance to Israel.

Immigration

Obama believes we need to do more to promote economic development in Mexico to decrease illegal immigration.

Technology

We should examine our ability to increase the number of permanent visas we issue to foreign skilled workers.

The Snow White Story

The seven dwarfs always left to go work in the mine early each morning.

As always, Snow White stayed home doing her domestic chores. As lunchtime approached, she would prepare their lunch and carry it to the mine.

One day as she arrived at the mine with the lunch, she saw that there had been a terrible cave-in. Fearing the worst, Snow White began calling out, hoping against hope that the dwarfs had somehow survived.

'Hello, hello!' she shouted. 'Can anyone hear me? Hello!' For a long while, there was no answer. Losing hope, Snow White again shouted, 'Hello! Is anyone down there?'

Just as she was about to give up all hope, there came A faint voice from deep within the mine, Vote for Obama!'

Snow White fell to her knees, and prayed, 'Oh, thank You Lord! At least Dopey is still alive.'

After a glance, I do not agree with the blurbs on:

--- Disability --- he does not talk about folks with mental illness and how complicated it is for them to get federal assistance. Not saying he doesn't give a #######, just that it is not mentioned at all.---

---Family --- totally forgets to mention the issue of equal marriage rights both here and in Civil Rights. And yes, I am talking about gay marriage---
