Well we still have not heard from the EAD or the Travel Permission....they were touched but no changes yet.

However, the Green card was ordered to be produced on August 25th :dance: and once we have it there is no need for the others. :devil:

Hopefully it will come soon!!!

July 29, 2008---"WALK-IN" BIOMETRICS DONE (AOS & EAD-1)

Oct 14, 2008---EAD1 CARD ARRIVES! Approval date is Oct. 2, 2008

Dec 10, 2008---INTERVIEW DAY! APPROVED!!!

Dec 17, 2008---WELCOME NOTICE RECEIVED

Jan 9, 2009---CARD RECEIVED FINALLY! Approval date 12-10-08..expires on 12-10-10

Thanks everyone!! we are so excited. We checked the site again today and the card was mailed on August 29th....so we should get it this week sometime.

That way Ahmed can get his License and start to work soon. The DL place here has given us such a hard time about him getting a license. FIrst they said with valid I-94 then they said it had to be for at least 160 days. Then they said when we get a I-797 notice of approval but when we went with that they said it was not valid because there was no dates on the letter. So we are super excited....with a green card they cannot say no.

I cannot believe we will get the green card without an interview. But here is the notice we got:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card Mailed

On August 29, 2008, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

NVC Received Papers 12-06-2007

NVC Mailed Papers To Embassy 12-07-2007

Got Hard copy from NVC today 12-13-2007

Embassy received Papers 12-17-07

Packet 3 mailed by Embassy 12-17-2007

Interview a success............approved!!! Feb 11th 2008

Still waiitng for security checks to be completed March 19 2008

Email from embassy...Security checks completed visa under fianl review for issuance March 25th 2008 :dance:

Finally The Visa is in Hand!!!! April 19 2008 :dance:

US Entry April 25 2008 Atlanta Georgia Airport :dance::crying:

April 28 2008 Marriage at Courthouse (Ceremonial Wedding is scheduled for June 28 2008)

AOS Papers Filed June 3 2008

NOA June 13 2008 Papers Received Check Cashed

Biometric Appointment Letter Received June 16 2008 Biometrics is June 28th 2008 11am :dance: (same day as Wedding Ceremony)

June 28th 2008.....Biometrics done in 30 mins and we had plenty of time to make the wedding ceremony.

August 4th 2008 AOS Approved. (Without an Interview!!)

August 25th Green Card Production Ordered

August 29th Green Card Mailed

Congratulations!

Hi Tasha haven't talked to you lately. I am glad to see your case is moving along good too. I think ours is wierd for us not to get the EAD first but it is fine with me as long as we get the Green Card. Ayman is still as cute as ever!!! Best Wishes!!

Our case has been strange....we have not gotten the EAD or the Welcome letter like you guys did but it does say the Green Card was mailed so I guess that is all that matters.
