Awwwww Lisa!! CONGRATS on your reuinion..use the time wisely. I am starting to get weepy here now knowing that my reality will soon be knocking on my door when my visa time expires here with my hubby. When I read about all of you that are apart, I think back on the time before I came here to be with Ian and how awful that time was...and now I will be right back there. I won't even have a computer for a long time when I leave so keeping in touch here will be hard...hmmm....anyway...I hope you and Dave have a lovely time together and keep the faith.

Hey Hey hey!

So I have a bit of time & decided to pop on and give you guys an update Everything's cool...David and I are having a brilliant time together. It's just been too good for words

He's out with my Dad now...they're doing that male bonding thing. It's really cool cos everyone gets on with everyone.

Bit disappointing news tho David (a big time procrastinator) forgot to get his divorce decree until about a month ago. Sent away for it with one of these online document services. As some of you may know, it hadn't arrived on time...we were sweating out whether or not he'd get it in time for his flight. Turns out he got it the morning before. He stuffed it in his bag & off he went.

We've been a bit lax thusfar, and only lastnight pulled out everything to go thru the docs to FINALLY send off our stuff. Guess what? INSIDE IS SOMEONE ELSE'S DIVORCE DECREE!!!!!!!!!! NOT HIS!!!

So balls to this and we've been gutted today. He ordered them again for 50 QUID and put a rush on them to be sent express here, but still. MORE effing wait.

Eh, but he's here. We'll deal. It's disappointing to say the least, but we'll manage. Still making the most of our time together.

Anyways, got some actual laundry to do, bbl maybe

Divorce decree still not here. Can I send this in without it, and wait for the RFE, or am I better to wait for the decree to get here?

I wouldn't risk it. You're going to have to do some waiting either way, so why add the extra worry that the decree will actually make it to the same place as the rest of your file? Seeing as the USCIS is famous for screw ups!
