Tracy, I've spent a few summers in England...I don't think they were cold at all. I would say they were very comfy....we even bought a room air conditioner, so pack dem shorts girl!

And rain? FFFFFS! They don't know rain! come to Fl where it rains so damn hard the raindrops seem to be on steriods.

English rain is like a mist...or someone spitting. It aint real rain, no sireee.

I scoff at their rain! SCOFF I SAY!

you will not be scoffing so loud, when you have a wet azz..

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Sister Lisa can probably attest to true 'rain', being in FL. and all!

I am almost always cold (as I type this, I have a space heater on under my desk full blast) so I figured a good balance between shorts and jeans - and a couple of light jackets for evening - will be about right. I can do laundry (REAL clothes laundry, thank you! LOL) while I'm there so if I end up 'under packed', its no biggie.

Eee I'm so excited to go. Seriously I love flying on the 777, its almost my favorite part of the journey (besides seeing my darling). :D I'm a dork.

your real laudry comment had me laffin!

You just made me soooooo homesick for England saying that! Yes, I'm homesick no matter where I am, hah! Aww that's the second time someone said that to me in two days :(

As far as a space heater in May, well you're just a freak :P You might need to pack earmuffs for the trip then :P :P maybe a scarf too

:D Thought you'd like that about 'real' laundry. Tho I can safely say there will be quite a bit of the other kind as well. (L):P

Well, it is about 10 degrees in my office anyway. I wear at least quarter length sleeves in the summer just so I don't freeze all day. The office services people said they have had several complaints today about the temperature in here, so its not just me. I touched my coworker's desk and it was like an ice cube! Anyway, they'll probably fix it today and it will be just as cold again tomorrow...
