Well,

We're trying to register with CRIS so we can follow my wife's AOS and EAD applications. We got first notices for each of these on Monday. The check cleared last Friday.

The receipt numbers have the form MSC-08-xxx-xxxxx. At CRIS, we write MSC08xxxxxxx. CRIS tells us that neither case associated with our I-485 nor the case associated with our I-765 exist.

Might there be some problem -- or should we just keep trying to register our receipt numbers over the next few days? I don't know how long it takes USCIS to put these case numbers into CRIS.

5-15-2002 Met, by chance, while I traveled on business

3-15-2005 I-129F
9-18-2005 Visa in hand
11-23-2005 She arrives in USA
1-18-2006 She returns to Russia, engaged but not married

11-10-2006 We got married!

2-12-2007 I-130 sent by Express mail to NSC
2-26-2007 I-129F sent by Express mail to Chicago lock box
6-25-2007 Both NOA2s in hand; notice date 6-15-2007
9-17-2007 K3 visa in hand
11-12-2007 POE Atlanta

8-14-2008 AOS packet sent
9-13-2008 biometrics
1-30-2009 AOS interview
2-12-2009 10-yr Green Card arrives in mail

2-11-2014 US Citizenship ceremony

Are you putting the Reciept # from the NOA or from the Back of the check?

If its from the back of the check, then you must wait for the NOA Receipt and enter that one!

MAY 6 2008 ( Day 1) - Notice USCIS received MAY 10 2008 (Day 4) -Rec'd all 4 NOA's & Status of all 4 online

MAY 12 2008 (Day 6) - Received Biometrics letter MAY 14 2008 (Day 8) - Biometrics done early.

OCTOBER 22 2008 (DAY 170)- I-765:Card Production Ordered/I-131: Approval notice sent

OCTOBER 27 2008 (Day 175)- AP Received

OCTOBER 30 2008 (Day 178)- EAD Approval Notice Sent OCTOBER 31 2008 (Day 179)- EAD Received

NOVEMBER 4 2008- Applied for SSN / NOVEMBER 24 2008- SSN Received

JANUARY 15 2009- INTERVIEW-APPROVED!!

JANUARY 31 2009- GC RECEIVED_No more USCIS for 10 Months[/color]

ROC

October 27- I-751 Sent

October 30- I-751 Received

April 10-10 YR GC Received

This is quite common. Some people can see their cases online right away, others can't for a while. People say that after biometrics masny cases show up online, but some people never can view them. It's a matter of luck.

We're entering receipts from the NOA1 we got in the mail, not the check -- which is a third number.

Guess this waiting game will be a bit different.

My AOS and EAD cases didn't show up until the day of my biometrics - and my Advance Parole didn't show up until after it was approved. You just never know with USCIS...

We tried the same thing, too. We couldn't see our case online until the day after our biometrics appointment. Don't get discourged, keep trying, just keep in mind this is a common glitch.

Summer 2004: Met while on J1 visa; J1 internship was 3 months (subject to 2yr-HRR)

2004-2008: Visited US on B1 / Steve visited Nicaragua as well (living in different countries! while I fulfilled 2yr-HRR)

July 9th, 2006: Married

July 10th, 2007: Sent I-130 Package to TSC w/old fee $190.00

July 13th, 2007: Recieved at CSC

July 17th, 2007: I-130 Notice Date

August 30, 2007: Touch (Files paired up?)

March 15, 2008: APPROVED!!! Recieved email from CRIS!!!

August 9th, 2007: Sent I-129F Package to CSC -- Fee waived

August 17th, 2007: I-129F Recieved at CSC

August 22nd, 2007: I-129F Notice Date

Jan. 5, 2009: AOS Interview!!!!

Jan. 15, 2009: Legal Permanent Resident!!!!

N-400 NATURALIZATION

Eligible: Jan 15, 2012

Nov 4, 2011: Sent N400 to Lockbox / Delivery confirmation on Nov 7, 2011.
