And as per your postings in another thread, it's ALL relevant. We're all judged on the tone we take throughout the board, not just in one thread.

I try to focus on the topic at hand and not have some bizarre vendetta against any one individual. Does animosity on one subject mean we have to be trashed on that issue across threads and over time? It's petty and no one else on a thread can follow what you're referring to. I think I was right on your angry streak. Some people never let it go.

I would never, ever jump into a thread in the Philippines forum and slag off their country. It is very bad form indeed, especially for someone who really has only been a tourist there. People called you out on it, you got defensive. Whatever, not my battle.

Try reading the whole thread before casting judgement. I got into it after 83 posts of American "slagging" and some mild "there's bad things everywhere" type of comments. If you're offended by comments on buildings and food you've led a very sheltered life indeed. Actually, you're more defensive than I was on the issue since you had to drag it into another thread, not I. Must have really pissed you off. Bad form.

Why are so many posters like yourself so afraid to answer a personal question like what your subject speciality is?

It's also not your place to determine where I can or can't post. I posted on a single UK thread and some posters went nuts.

I thought I had made it pretty clear that the original comment was made in good fun. Instead of HannyPerez stating "that isn't part of my cultural belief system thanks but no thanks" I get informed of her husbands anatomy and a rather downright meanspirited assumption that I am not happy with my sex life and that Europeans and Americans women are sexually inadequet. Hanny Perez, I feel no need to justify the state of my sex life to you...what goes on between my husband whether good or bad is between us.

I just wanted to make things fun, and I had absolutely no sinister intentions. I admit if this was someone who I wasn't as familiar with the culture I would have held back. However, I have filipina friends, including my best friend who is filipina and has been trained in sex therapy. Therefore I likely incorrectly assumed that most other filipina women were more sexually experimental than I had previously thought.

I personally feel like an apology is owed to me from HannyPerez for her rude comments about her perception of my sex life. I never even remotely made a dig at her yet she decided to hit below the belt. However, I'm not holding my breathe on that one.
