Does the processing date have to move to 30 days past my date to enable the right to complain?

1 year later, and the processing dates have been bumped to Sept 1.

Do I have to wait until the date budges to Oct. 1 (sent last August) to have a right to complain.

Last couple calls I was told I had no rights to complain or call, and to wait 6 more months.

What exactly does "outside" processing timeline mean?

Hate calling that place. It's a sure fire way to ruin a week.

You know VSC though, they're going to tell you that your not outside of the timelines. How ridiculous is that???

There is no reason.

And no, no touches.

There's no ###### up circumstances, both single, no children, both professionals with advanced degrees.

They just haven't bothered touching my application.

And USCIS says all is normal and within normal processing.

what can I say... no no ###### up overstay irrespsonsible bullshit or overstayed visas.

No reasons, since I've had NO processing.

I guess thats my original question... WHEN is my 30 days up? When the processing date moves to OCT 1? because it took 1 year for them to move from July 1 to Sept. 1. Waiting for an oct 1st date could take another year. Remember they can always go backwards with the dates as has happened before.

I really do not believe my wife will ever be in USA at this point. I'm stuck waiting I guess another year before flipping this nation the bird and moving to an expat life.

I used to have dreams of picking up my wife at the airport, or thinking what it'd be like going somewhere with my wife here when I'm alone. That's stopped...its not even a remote fantasy anymore.

I AM lucky my wife is who she is, she wants to be with me in the worst way, but she's always supportive understanding and patient. I'd imagine these circumstances could destroy the vast majority of marriages... which IS the intent of Homeland security. Torture until we give up on importing another dang feriner to the united states of xenophobia. I spit in their faces.

I know your pain, I felt that very same way. I would imagine a great deal of us here on VJ have felt like you do. From what I understand you dont have to wait until the new dates are published. Since your date is so close to the published date on the website, I'm sure you can call them to ask if you are outside of the processing timeline. If they say no, ask them when that will be, they should be able to tell you what they consider that to be in your case.

wouldnt it suck if your application is one day ahead of their final processing date? that means you have to wait for a month b4 complaining. On top of that, they may not even move ahead a month (i'd be just as happy if they stall and dont go backwards).

They recieved it the 21st.. .therefore I have no rights to complain until the date gets to Sept. 21.

Slim chances of that happening in 2009.

HOHOHO - i dont think the dates will change this cycle. i expect them to change on/around the 15th next month. but the bitter truth is that unfortunately u will have to wait until the 21st of next month and only hope that the dates move forward and not backwards. but i wud not listen to their ####### about u being in normal processing time...call, call, call and call....bug that s**t out of them....ask them to have u speak with a supervisor, contact ur congressman/woman. they shud give u an answer now. good luck!
