A Terrible Loss

This will not mean much to many of you but a very dear frined of mine has left us.

Christina Dillard-Wadsworth is the woman who planned my wedding to my beloved Tanya. She is the woman I held and comforted after the sudden death of her husband a few short years ago. She is the woman who called me after hurricane Ivan and asked if I could come rescue her off of the barrier island here in Navarre. She is the woman who probably saved my life after the devastating break-up of myself and my ex-wife.

I can best describe her as having a Mae West like quality in that wherever she was, it was the place to be. She did not light up a room when she entered it, she cranked up the tunes and got the place rockin'! She was terror around a karoake machine and apple-tini's were her weakspot.

Christina suffered a dibilitating stroke last Sunday and passed in her sleep early this Sunday morning. She left behind many happy hearts and a million smiles. She was 40 years young.

I love you Christina and will miss your hugs and dirty jokes!
