Hi Everybody

I am Sue, and my fiance is Barry. I am beginning to track all of the 601-w in London, and if you would not mind sharing your number with me and the date it popped up as pending, I would be happy to tell you how the wait times are going. I have made a spread sheet, and have added one other number to it, so I can see where we all are. I just got ours on the pending list last week, (Dec 10) so we have a ways to go.

Thanks!

Sue and Barry

he: Sweden

me: California

1.5 years waiting!!!1 :help::thumbs:

Just to reiterate: I have a spreadsheet tracking all applications since July. Email me at visaspouse@googlemail.com and I can send it to you.

We were denied for possession of marijuana 17 years ago, then denied for misrepresentation because she came over here 5 times and filled out the I-94W and there is a very ambigious question that she filled out incorrectly. She sent in the new I-601 to waive the new charges and was approved in about a week. A week after the I-601 was approved the Visa was approved. She sent her passport in and is getting it stamped. Now we are just setting the date for her to move over here.

Our case is so similar to yours. It gives me hope to hear that your application was approved. Is there any way that we could connect by email, so that I can ask a couple of questions? I can be reached at visaspouse@googlemail.com.

Thanks,

Karen

Hi guys,

How does one access that i-601 processing page on the USCIS website?

Thanks

Ken

PS. My fifteen weeks is about to expire and I havent heard a thing.Never got any reply/receipt recognition to my I-601. I don't think the "seriousness" of offence has any bearing either as I have commited no offense. I simply refuse to take their poisonous innoculations.

Guys!

I wanted to ask/find out how everyones I-601 applications are going/went?

I filed mine in September of '08 in order to seek the legal waiver on the vaccine requirments. All very straight forward and uncomplicated. I was told the application would take 12 weeks to review.

By January I had heard nothing so I sent an email off. I got an apologetic reply to say the application hadn't even made it to the relevant department and they would get it sorted asap. It's now june and the application hasn't budged from pending Limbo. I recently retained the services of a law firm to write to USCIS confirming my legal rights in the matter.

That letter arrived recently. We will see if it has greased the skids or not.I have further emailed to make sure this letter is included in the I-601 file.It seems important documents only make it to their destinations if one pushes.I am utterly horrified and mystified at the whole sorry process not mention how rudely ,and with what disdain I was treated with on the day of my Visa interview!

Hi Dooley, We are also waiting on London. We sent in our waiver packet September 08. They did not send it off to DHS in London until January 09. We also are still waiting in pending. I don't know why, but they have really slowed down in adjudication in the last year. Yes, yours seems like an easy one??? Ours is a 36 year old crime and a misrep charge because he came to America in the past without ticking a box to say he had a conviction on a spent crime. I'm all lost on it all. You may want to check out immigrate2us.net as that's where a lot of us that discuss this more. All I know is I've almost been married two years and have spent almost none of it with my husband. My life is a wreck these days and so are my emotions. Tracy

Guys. I got approved today. My I-601 went from pending straight to approved.Didnt enter the review phase at all.I think primarily because mine was a vaccine waiver issue and not related to any past crime or hardship etc. Really, there are no legal grounds to refuse an I-601 vaccine waiver.

For those contemplating a similar route I can tell you that the Immigration and Naturalisation Act makes provision to refuse vaccines on moral and relgious grounds and the matter is also a 1st Amendment issue which protects an individuals right to excercise relgious convictions.

However,I will say that the wheels only became greased when I made it known I had retained legal representation.

I have been made to wait though since last September but I had other family matters to take care of in my home country so I wasn't in a rush luckily.

I have heard of people being approved in email and refused in the snail mail tho so I won't count my chickens just yet!!

Best of luck to you all

We never received a card confirming they got our material either. My husband had his interview in London on May 16, 2008 and sent our I-601 package in on May 17th. I've read on the London site that they send out cards confirming receipt of waiver packets, but he never got one. Every week we checked the website, our number finally showed up on the list on June 9th. We were told at the interview "it can take up to 15 weeks to review". I've been counting from the June 9th date, our 15th week will be the 22nd of this month. However, we have not moved from pending to review yet.

I would like to know from others who have been through this process in London, how long it took them.

Good luck to you and check the website to track your progress.

Can I ask why you were denied?? My fiance has some simple assault convictions and I am curious if his waiver will be denied. We haven't filed for one yet but I am sure they are going to want one.

Thanks
