I do have to say that I was SHOCKED at how many things were closed or had extremely limited hours in Winnipeg. All I wanted was a can of sweetened condensed milk for goodness sake! NO ONE that sold it was open (now...if my dearest, darling fiance had gotten it ahead of time like I asked him to it wouldn't have been a big deal..."I thought evaporated milk was the same thing?" indeed...and that's how I learned who would be doing the shopping in our marriage).

Well Winnipeg isn't a good example of Night life or sunday life :P

Lol! Levi lives about 45 minutes from Winnipeg and on Sundays we just stay in town and go for walks or rent movies. Thats about all there was to do. I love it there though!

I was born about 30 minutes south of Winnipeg in Steinbach.. whereabouts does Levi live??

wow cool... all my aunts and uncles and cousins and other assorted family still live around there...

I really love it there! If I didn't have the kids to worry about moving I would have moved there.

I don't ever want to move back there :lol: I went back a few years ago for a friend's wedding and I was there for about a week and I was bored to tears... :P

:lol: Well the longest I've ever been there was 10 days and it was nice to get away from all the traffic and crowds. I might feel differently if I was there longer :)

I liked it fine when I was younger.. lived there till I was 15.. we moved to BC... I didn't like it at first but now I am glad we moved.. I love BC... I miss BC...

I heard its really beautiful there. Thats actually where Levi will be in a few hours! He's on his way to the city to catch his flight right now.... Interview tomorrow!!!

There are lots of things closed in SK as well on Sundays. I doubt however you're going to Saskatchewan. Most American's can't pronounce it, don't know where it is, or say that they've flown over it, but never stopped. :blink:
