I'm from the west Texas town of El Paso ...... where long ago I heard a song about a Texas cowboy and a girl and a little place called Rosa's cantina ...... El Paso City, by the Rio Grande ...... could it be that I am the cowboy in that mystery that died in that desert sand so long ago ......?

I'm an ex-Texan. I lived in the HEB (Hurst/Euless/Bedford) area, just outside DFW, in the early 90s and I have smelled and kissed the yellow roses and blue bonnets. I love Texas; however, except for some parts of the western section of the state, the lay of the land is too flat, no mounds and no valleys ... yup, too flat, as flat as a spinster's chest! :D:D:D
