what if you don't meet the standard requirements ?

hello everyone, i have a simple question. what if in the year your filing, you don't make the standard requirements for support?. my company was just bought out, an there cutting back Overtime. that was my main income. I'm guaranteed 80 hrs a pay period. but i make even better with my overtime.

Get a sponsor

You get a co-sponsor.

This person must be a U.S. citizen and make the 125% above the poverty guide line.

They fill out the affidavit of support (I-134) paperwork (you do as well even though you don't meet the requirements) and you have it notarized.

40 hours a week doesn't take a lot per hour to qualify unless the household size is pretty big but if you don't qualify you get a co-sponsor. Since this is a K1 in the PI though, I'd do all I could to qualify on my own.

What makes you think you don't qualify? Have you done the math?

ITS JUST ME, BUT I PAY OUT ROUGHLY $500 AMONTH IN CHILD SUPPORT.BECAUSE OF PERVOUS YEARS INCOME. BEFORE THE BUY OUT AN DECREASE IN OVERTIME.
